1. The cost of landscaping software
The landscaping software which gives the overall picture with the weather conditions of your area and the kind of plants that will survive in this area will cost a very large amount. The best software for landscaping are usually used by professional landscapers only as they are very expensive. The ones that come free and can be downloaded are not very informative and cannot really give you a true picture of what your garden will look like or what plants you can plant with the weather conditions here. This does not give you the true picture of your landscaping at all.
2. The learning curve of landscaping software
It is not always very easy or simple to find out what plant to buy or what size it should be. This may take a long time to decipher and there are simpler methods of planning your landscaping. So unless the instructions are clear and simple it is not really worth investing in the landscaping software. It is better to get a professional landscaper to help you with the landscaping.
3. Cheaper software offers
You can get fairly decent landscaping software for $100 which are also easy to use. However, you will first have to learn how to use the computer and even selecting the plants will take some time. You will have to take your time in learning the intricacies of using this software before you can handle it.
Software that is really expensive gives you a three dimensional view of not jus the landscaping from the front but every angle’s view and also of the construction site and how it will look from different view points. You can also get an overhead view which will show you what the colors and shrubs look like finally. If you put the software for landscaping together with the construction software you will be able to put in place the plumbing and electrical work especially for the out door patios.
